WILD is in just 13 days, and registration is open now! Why should you register for WILD? Well, first, if you’re a current student (whether at MSU or in the greater Lansing community), you can attend for no cost and attendees get a free shirt and meal.
Beyond free swag, however, WILD is a wonderful chance to connect with other feminist leaders on campus. This happens through our wonderful workshops, speakers, and panelists but also through connecting with other conference attendees. Whenever I go to a conference, what I often end up valuing the most is the chance to make new connections. In our current presidential administration, uncertainty and fear are all too common. Each breaking news headline reveals something new to be stressed about.
Last year at WILD, we reminded participants that we are not alone. In times like these, community becomes even more important. This year, we invite participants to engage, empower, and activate. A singular event or action cannot and will not be a solution. But by working together and building community, we become stronger and more resilient. I hope to see you on February 23rd, 2025 at the Union- we have great content in store and wonderful ways to connect with other students.
