We are excited to kick off the new academic year with a range of engaging events and programs designed to connect you with fellow students and resources that will enrich your university experience.
FEMfest - Thursday, August 31 - MSU Union
FemFest is a powerful and empowering celebration of feminism in the arts. It is an animated event that encourages experimentation and self-expression without restraint or apology. In reclaiming the Union, we create a brave and boundless space where students can stand out, make a statement, and feel heard. Women*s Student Services, in collaboration with Impact 89FM, University Activities Board, and MSU Women*s Council, welcomes anyone and everyone with the same courage, passion for change, and rebellious spirit. Doors open at 7 p.m.
WILD Workshops - Beginning September 12
Our weekly Women*s Initiative for Leadership Development (WILD) Workshops will commence on September 12th. This Fall, we're using the book Emotionally Intelligent Leadership: A Guide for Students as the basis of our leadership workshop series. Descriptions of each session will be posted here and on our social media accounts. All workshops are held in 110 Student Services Building. All workshops are facilitated by the staff of Women*s Student Services. Keep an eye out for the schedule of workshops, and be prepared to embark on a journey of growth and discovery.
WILD Conference - November 12
Mark your calendars for the WILD Conference on November 12th. This dynamic event will bring together inspiring speakers, thought-provoking discussions, and networking opportunities. The WILD Conference is your chance to engage with other students, activists, and scholars who are making a difference in their fields. Whether you're passionate about gender equity, social justice, or personal development, the WILD Conference promises to be a day of inspiration and empowerment. Visit msuwildconference.com for details on how to register beginning in October.
